Hazel Brawley Kay passed away on December 1, 2010. Hazel was born on September 24, 1917, Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Lloyd Allen Brawley. She is survived by her husband, William E. Kay, daughter, Becky Bowles (Bill) of Tulsa, son, Kirk Brawley (Annie) of OKC, grandsons, Nick Williams, Daniel Brawley, and Dustin Brawley, great grandsons Caden and Hunter Williams, step-children Carolyn Miles Parker and William E. Kay, Jr., and many nieces and nephews.
Hazel was a member of Crown Heights Christian Church, Col. John Starke Sr. Chapter of NSDAR, Oklahoma City Golf and Country Club, Niners Golf, Lily Study Club, Oklahoma City Aviation Club, and The Bridge Group.
In 1933, Hazel won two medals at Webster Jr. High School in OKC: Outstanding Student and the Silver Scholarship.
