Almont Pendexter

Almont (Al, Almo) Pendexter Born 12/12/1941; passed unexpectedly on 6/11/2013 in Oklahoma City, OK. He was a longtime resident of Pembroke, MA and also resided in Deland, FLA. He was a self employed brick mason in Massachusetts for many years; recently employed as security for KH Rolltop, Inc. in Norman, OK. He enjoyed his previous employment in several campgrounds including Sandy Pond in Plymouth, MA. He spent 5 years as security in Fitchburg, MA where he enjoyed his family coming to camp out and visit on several occaisions. He is survived by his wife Patricia Merritt, his children Christopher and Brenda of Plymouth, MA, Tracy Torrey of Whitman, MA, Cheri Foley of Pembroke, MA; and their mother Terri Carlton of Pembroke, MA. Also survived by one brother; David Pendexter of Boise City, LA, and extended family; Joann Webb and Peter Clogston of Deland, FL, Robert Clogston and Diann Weckbacher of Hanson, MA, James Clogston of Deltona, FL, Alison Parks and Matthew Michaud of Pembroke, MA, and Patricia Michaud of Massachusetts. in addition to 23 grand children, 7 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service is tentatively scheduled for 3:00 p.m. on June 23, 2013 at the First Church of Pembroke, 105 Center St., Pembroke, MA with a reception to immediately follow at the Bryantville Meeting House located at 32 School Street in Bryantville, MA.
