Alvin (Sonny) Jun passed away on May 9th 2011. He was born in Oklahoma City on October 9,1938. He graduated from Capital Hill High School and completed two years of college before joining the amry. Sonny served two years of active duty in Alaska. He also served two years active service in the Army Reserves. Al was in Industrial Chemical Sales. He worked in Kansas City for Thompson Hayward then transfered back to Oklahoma City, after leaving Thompson Hayward he started his own company "Juns Industrial Sales". Sonny enjoyed several years of retirement with his wife Lynda. They loved working with there pure breed Mustang Horses that had been rescued from all over the southwestern United States. He also enjoyed golf, hunting, fishing, and spending time with family and friends. He was preceeded in death by his grandmother Bessy Krivenk and father Ben Jun and Mother Francis (Krivenk) Jun. He is survived by his wife Lynda Jun of 26 years, his sister Ima Gene (Jun) Gruel and husband Bill. 2 daughters and son-in-law, Julie (Jun) Bellington, husband Shane and Suzie Jun. 2 step-daughters Amber Self and spouse Scotty, Marcie Pierce and son-in-law Connie. Adopted son Donny Jun. He has five grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Services were held Thursday,May 12, 2011 Czech National Cemetery located at SW 44th & Agnew in Oklahoma City, OK.
