Alvina Magdalena Adelheit Oestmann Frazier

Alvina passed peacefully on Wednesday, December 27, 2017. She was born at home on September 23, 1923, in Avery, Lincoln County, Oklahoma to Alvin Henry Oestmann and Margaretha “Meta” Wiedemeier. Alvina was the youngest of seven children. Her parents moved a couple of years later to a farm in Foraker, Osage County, Oklahoma where she grew up. She loved the farm, animals and living in the Osage. Alvina attended school through the 8th grade, but she also helped her father build a barn, dig a pond and would round up the cattle on her horse. In 1944 she attended Hill’s business college where she received a bookkeeping degree and went to work in the oil business for Anderson Pritchard Oil Company “APCO”. For eighteen years she was a full time home maker raising her children as well as volunteering for the school and church.
