Anita “Sue” Anderegg - 88, Oologah, OK - passed May 7, 2024. She was born in Anadarko, OK August 12, 1935 to the late Morris and Zella Williams.
Sue was an avid artist of landscapes in oil. She sold many of her paintings in local art shows, although her family was always given first choice! After retiring from Oklahoma Natural Gas, now ONE Gas, she found a new passion for bicycling and even participated in several Oklahoma Freewheel events. They enjoyed square dancing and pulling their fifth wheel rig all over the United States, with their favorite places being Branson, MO and Mountain View, AR. She loved to read but her favorite part of life was time spent with family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her brother Walter Williams and her sister Loretta Wilkerson.
Sue is survived by her loving husband of 71 years, Ray; daughters Janean Hazelwood and Janelle Anderegg, and son Don (Stacy) Anderegg; her sister Bea Roberson; 6 grandchildren - Matt (Laura) Hazelwood, Nicole (Adam) Mourning, Brandon Anderegg, Eric (Nancy) Anderegg, Jennifer (Tim) Kilpatrick, and Rindi (Neal) Crow. Sue has 15 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
A Celebration of Sue’s Life will be a small family gathering in Edmond. Your prayers for Ray and the family are greatly appreciated.
