Arnold Marion "A.M." Reynolds was born October 13, 1928 in Vinson, Oklahoma to Amon Lee and Winnie Laura Reynolds. He went to be with the Lord Sunday, August 22, 2010, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. After receiving an honorable discharge from the 82nd Airborne Division of the United States Army, he completed his education with a Bachelors of Science in Education at Southwestern Oklahoma State University and a Masters degree at Western State College in Gunnison, Colorado. He served the Carter Public School system for 13 years as a teacher, coach, principal and superintendent. During his 20 years in the Tuttle Public School system he served as a teacher, coach, elementary, junior high and high school principal and activities director. He loved learning, teaching and making a difference in the lives of the children and youth with whom he worked He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Gene Reynolds; and a sister, Joye Avery. He is survived by June, his wife of 62 years; their two children, Karen and Mark; three grandsons, Amon, Jameson, and Triston; a granddaughter, Keeli; five great grandsons, Brendan, Kenyon, Aiden, Owen and Jalin; a great granddaughter, Aniston; and two very special granddaughters-in-law, Sarah and Ashley. He has one surviving brother, Carl Reynolds and his spouse Sandra; and a sister, Ruth LaSocco; his father-in-law, Loyd Upchurch; a brother-in-law, Steve Upchurch and his spouse Deann, and numerous nieces and nephews. He will be greatly missed and long remembered by them all. A memorial service will be held Thursday, August 26, 2010 at 2:00 pm at the First United Methodist Church of Tuttle, Oklahoma.
