Barbara Ruth Casale

Barbara Casale went peacefully in her sleep on May 14, 2015.  She was a women of strength, passion and wit.  She leaves behind two daughters Antoinette and Margret, five Grandchildren, Nadia, Amber, Judah, Nyiah, and Nathaniel, and four great grandchildren, Anthony, Alejandro', Jeremiah and Natalia.  She was also "grandma" to many and most that she came in contact with.  Her love for Yankee Baseball, law and order cigarettes and Coffee is what she will be most remembered by as well as her unheard of sayings like "knee high to a grasshopper" or "30 days next case" when she wanted you to shut up about something she had no interest in conversing about.  She was a hoot to say the least.  There is nothing that you could get passed her, for she was sharper than a tact and quicker than anyone gave her credit for.  Over the last few years she left her home in New York to live out the last of her years watching her great grandchildren grow up.  She found peace and joy in being able to share a cup of coffee with a family member, go to her great grandson's baseball games and be at home each day when they arrived to find out how their day went.  She was the best. We are all heartbroken for our lost but she is at peace and watching over us with her preceded husband Steven Antonio Casale (our grandpa).  So let's look at this day not in sorrow but in blessing as we have now gained one of the most protective, sharpest and loving guardian angels heaven has ever obtained.  We love you to the moon and back grandma.  SIP Funeral Service 1pm Tuesday, May 19, 2015 Landmark Holiness Tabernacle 1344 SW 34th Street Oklahoma City, OK To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Barbara Ruth Casale please visit our Sympathy Store.
