Beatrice Conaway

Beatrice (Bea) Fretwell Conaway, age 94, of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, died October 12, 2012 at her home. She was born September 26, 1918 to the late Frank S. and Margaret Severe Fretwell in Manheim, Preston County, West Virginia. Bea was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Homer W. Conaway; two brothers, Laveryl (Jim) Fretwell and Kenneth Fretwell; and a sister, Martha Jane Fretwell. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Ward and Shirley T. Conaway of Edmond, Oklahoma and Jack M. and Wanda B. Conaway of Sparta, North Carolina; three grandchildren, Jeffrey W. Conaway of Astoria, New York; Megan C. Conaway of Norman, Oklahoma; and Paul J. Conaway, wife Marjorie Lyle Conaway and great grand-daughter Charlotte Conaway of Walhalla, South Carolina. Bea is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Lillian Fretwell of Baltimore, MD and several nieces. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Mt.
