Belvard L. "D" Strotter

Belvard "D" Louis Strotter born April 22nd, 1952 in Stillwater, Oklahoma to John Louis and Hattie Alberta Strotter. D went peacefully to be with the Lord on July 22nd., 2012. He attended C.E. Donart High School in Stillwater, OK and after relocating a graduate of N.E. High School of Oklahoma City. D was passionate about sports and his talent showed through with wrestling, football and baseball and this carried over into his adult life as a fan of the OU Sooners, Oakland Raiders, Oakland A's and OKC Thunder. He was an avid music lover and he would share his collection of music by spending hours remixing tapes to share with others. D also, loved to cook and everyone would look forward to summer when he would fire up the charcoals and holidays for his greens and cabbage. He will be remembered for his wisdom, generosity, humbleness and love for his family and friends. He enjoyed his careers at St. Anthony Hospital and Valair Rehabilitation Hospital. He is preceded by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 35 years Jacqueline, daughter Rachael Alberta, and son Chad Louis both of Oklahoma City; brothers John Andrew of Oklahoma City and Lynn of Stillwater; sisters Berta "Sug" and Wanda both of Oklahoma City, and LaRuth of Oakland, CA; grandchildren Jordan Louis, Alex Jiovanni, Aaliyah Jacqueline, Nevaeh Jo and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
