Bertha Rose Hager, also affectionately known as Sis, passed away December 26, 2022 after a 7 year battle with Alzheimer’s Disease. She was born in Clayton, Oklahoma on April 13, 1937, the 8th of 9 children, to Francis Marion & Bertha Virginia (Dorse) Cook. Bertha was a graduate of LeFlore High School in 1955. She was a loving & giving mom & grandma who treasured her family dearly. Bertha loved working in her flowerbeds and was a cat lover extraordinaire. She always had a smile & a cute wave, she was funny & kind.
Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; 4 brothers: William, Edward, Joe & Riley; and 4 sisters: Ruth, Ethelene, Maudie & Nona.
Bertha is survived by her children & their spouses: Rose Hager of Ardmore, Tommy & Carol Hager of Midwest City, Tracy Hager of Midwest City and James & Teresa Stockton of Edmond; 6 grandchildren & spouses: Billy & Cindy LeBarre, Joshua James LeBarre Sr. & fiancé Myrriah, April & Charlie Heaton, Gina & Josh Gotbaum, Greg Stockton, Julie & Conner Bays; 10 great grandchildren: Dilyn, Shyann, Kaden, Andy, Johnny, Brady, Melanie, Joshua James Jr., June and coming soon Josie; beloved nieces, nephews, sister-in-law and friends.
