Betsy Lou Smith, 69, of Noble, Ok, died Feb. 11, 2020 in the Noble Health Care facility after a battle with cancer. She was born Sept. 7, 1950 to Sylvester and Betty Smith in East Liverpool, Ohio. Betsy graduated from Beaver Local High school. Betsy never married and she lived with her mother until her mother’s death. She took care of her mother in her final years. Betsy’s hobbies were pencil sketching of flowers and wildlife. She enjoyed shopping with her sister, Carol. Betsy worked as a dishwasher for the Hen House in East Liverpool and was employed as a custodian by Beaver tool shop in Maysville, OK for five years; also worked at the fish Shop in Maysville manufacturing fishing lures. Betsy faithfully attended Noble Assembly of God church and was loved by many. Betsy is survived by her five siblings; George Smith and wife Elaine, Carl Smith, Carol Smith, Joyce Mary Hampson and Janet Gilroy and husband John and many nephews and nieces. Her niece Kimberly had cared for her during her battle with cancer and was at her side when she died. Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 Feb. 17, 2020 at Noble Assembly of God Church officiated by Pastor Steve Lance.
