Bettie Lou Smith

Bettie Smith, 86, went home to be with her Lord in her home on June 7, 2016. She was born August 22, 1929 in Three Sands, Oklahoma to Gilbert E. and Bernice Burk. She grew up in the Central Oklahoma area graduating from Britton High School. She married Jack Nowlin, was a homemaker, mother, and homebuilder. Later she married Harold B. Smith and continued to build homes. She is survived by three children, Martha Williams, Lee Ann Franke, and Joseph Nowlin and their spouses. Also surviving is her nephew John Burk, her grandchildren Heather Svalya, Pactrick Nowlin, luke Nowlin, Elizabeth Smith, Andrew Franke, and Carrie Franke along with three great-grandchildren. Bettie was active in her church, Heritage Baptist as well as Bible Study Fellowship. She will be greatly missed by family and friends; however, we know she is in heaven with her Savior, the lord Jesus.
