Beverly Reeves Haddock

June 1, 1949 — October 21, 2024

Oklahoma City, Oklahoma

Beverly Reeves Haddock, 75, passed away on October 21, 2024, surrounded by her family, friends, and loved ones.

A Memorial Service will be held at First Presbyterian Church in Oklahoma City, OK, on Friday, November 8th, at 1:30 p.m. in the sanctuary.

Beverly is survived by her sister, Judy Reeves Butler; her daughters, Brooke Kivett, and Bumper Haddock; her son-in-law, Josh Kivett; her granddaughter, Caroline Kivett; and, her partner of 16 years, Joe Daniel.

Born on June 1, 1949, in Oklahoma City, Beverly was the youngest daughter of John Bretch Reeves and Maureen Bower Reeves. She graduated from Classen High School in 1967 and went on to study nursing at the University of Oklahoma.

On November 20, 1971, Beverly married William (Bill) Edward Haddock, a loving partnership that endured until his passing 30 years later.

Except for two years spent in Germany while Bill served in the Army, Beverly always called Oklahoma City home. She worked as an executive assistant in the medical field, known for her humor and warm smile that brightened the lives of those around her. She had a deep love for her work, her friends, animals, and the Oklahoma Sooners.

In 2008, Beverly met Joe Daniel, whose love and companionship brought renewed joy to her life. Their relationship has been a source of light and comfort to all who know them.

Known affectionately as "Amo" by her granddaughter and close friends, Beverly made a lasting impact on the lives of those she touched—her daughters, family, and loved ones from near and far.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church in Beverly's memory.
