Bobbye Kyriakopoulos

Memorial Service Saturday, May 31st, 2014 - 11:00 AM - Resurrection Free Methodist Church 6000 N. Macarthur Blvd - Oklahoma City, OK - 73122 Bobbye Ann Kyriakopoulos was born in Ponca City, OK on June 5, 1930, to Leslie and Irene Coats. She passed away surrounded by family on May 28, 2014. Bobbye was raised in Shawnee with her younger brother, John. She worked at the University of Oklahoma where she met her late husband Dr. Adrian Kyriakopoulos. She had two children, Tad and Robn. Bobbye has lifetime friends in Shawnee although she spent most of her adult life in East Aurora, NY where she enjoyed adventures with her best friends who lovingly referred to themselves as “The Unbored.” Bobbye was a talented artist who specialized in oil painting. When she wasn’t busy spoiling her grandchildren Connie and McKalyn, she lived to spoil her two cats, Sassy and Salem.  Bobbye was an avid world traveler. In her later years, she settled for “armchair trips” while she watched the Travel Channel. Bobbye was preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Irene Coats, her brother John Coats, her husband, Adrian Kyriakopoulos and her son James Keith "Tad” Green.  She is survived by her daughter, Robn Green and her fiancé Edward of Oklahoma City; her grandchildren Connie Moser and Amber Rivetti of San Francisco, CA and McKalyn and Matthew Danner, of Edmond.
