Carl was born in Checotah, Oklahoma. He and his parents Floyd and Ola Archer moved to OKC at the age of 4. He married his high school sweetheart Neta Cooksey on May 4, 1964. Carl was a loving husband, son, dad, papa, brother and friend to many. He was an entrepreneur and business owner in the oil field equipment industry. His value for hard work and sound business decisions rewarded him with early retirement. He enjoyed travel, spending time at his lake home in Eufaula, where he made many friends. Above all he valued time with his family. Carl was preceded in death by his dad Floyd and beloved grandmother Mamie Childers. He was survived by his wife of 49 years, Neta Archer of the home, his mother Ola, sister Sharon and Jim Ratliff, his brother Charles Archer, his daughter Dawnita and James Lee, his son Todd and Chantel Archer, his grandchildren Charity and Anthony Fike, Josh Lee and Breeli Archer and one great grandchild Juliee Fike. Carl will be greatly missed by all. The family would like to express their thanks to Dr. Nassar Janbay and staff at Integris Southwest Cancer Center.
