Cathy Jo (Carnagey) Larchey

Cathy Jo Larchey was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma January 8, 1958. She was one of five children born to Hagan Patrick and Virginia Josephine Carnagy. As a young girl Cathy loved dancing, horseback riding, cheerleading and raising all the family pets. She was and accomplished horse woman. She won many trophies and ribbons for her riding skills in western pleasure, english and jumping. In her late teens she developed a beautiful singing voice. In her 20’s she became an accomplished country and western and blues singer. She enjoyed singing locally around clubs in Tulsa. Cathy married Don Green and they had one son, Coby Green. Coby blessed Cathy with three grandchildren: Kelan (16), Elijah (10), and Chloe (1). Later she married Jimmy Larchey and they had one daughter: Amber Megan Larchey. For the past two years Cathy has lived in a nursing home but still kept us entertained with her “crazy ways” and warped sense of humor. Cathy continued to visit family, friends and most of all, her beloved pets, Angel and Bugsey. Angel was there and ready to greet Cathy when she entered heaven’s door. In the end, Cathy’s body was just too crippled and broken. She left this world peacefully in her sleep on March 26, 2013. She will be deeply missed by all.
