On September 14, 1949 in Bakersfield, California Cephus Donald Dyer was born from the union of Issac Lorenzo and Janie Hardman Dyer along with twin brother Cecil Arnold Dyer, Donnie attending local schools, graduating from Bakersfield High School, Donnie also attended Law School and obtained his paralegal license and his law clerk training diploma. Donnie was very adventurous and loved to travel. During his travels, thanks to special friends Paul and Jeanetta Hendrix he met the love of his life, Blanche Elizabeth Jackson “Red”. They were married in 1980 and remained together till God called Donnie home on July 9, 2016. Together they raised 4 children, Donnie was preceded in death by his father and mother Issac and Janie Dyer, daughter Christi Lorraine Dyer. At the time of his death, he is survived by his loving and devoted wife Blanche E. Dyer, three children; Terrence and Ginger Dyer, Dari Lynn, and Darcy Juanita, three sisters; Doris Dean, Loretta Boyd, and Nancy and Leon McDuffie, two brothers; Lorenzo and his wife Ann of Bakersfield, California and twin brother Cecil and his wife Gloria Dyer from Sacramento, California, 13 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins and a host of other relatives. Along with a special brother James Thomas, special son Byron McCutcheom, special nephews & nieces Ronnie and Kelly Couch and Breanna, Kody and Glory, special friends; Aurora and Carlos Alarcon, Albert (Tooter) and Shay Neece, Joe Bounds, Don Brown, Jackson and Leandra Lucas, Terry Williamson and Ray Washington, along with two of Oklahoma’s fines Attorneys, Jerry E. Jones and Robert (R.J.) Johnston. A special thank you to Integris Hospital, for the expert medical care shown and also to Integris Hospice Care for the loving care shown to Donnie and family making it possible for him to stay in the comfort of his own home. Thanks to Loretta Boyd (Donnie’s sister) and Chasity Workman Dyer (granddaughter) and Darcy Hoosman (daughter) for assisting with Donnie’s care. A special thank you to Pastors Victor and Barbara Knight and the entire House of Prayer congregation for all your love and support. Thank you all who had a part in Donnie’s life and care.
