Charles Allen Mitchell, 53, of Oklahoma City, OK was born April 9, 1960 in Concordia, KS to Myron and Sarah (Higgins) Mitchell. He is preceded in death by his parents, one sister; Mary Mar Stozenburg and a brother; Jack Mitchell. He is survived by sisters Connie Mitchell and Wanda Owen, an aunt Mildred Wren as well as numerous other family members and friends. Charlie attended and graduated from Concordia High School and Hayes State College in Kansas and was the owner and operator of AA Auto Glass in Oklahoma City for over 25 years. Charlie loved playing rugby. Brian Hail wrote: “Charlie Mitchell played rugby for over 30 years in Oklahoma City. He started out as a novice player, quickly made his way to an elite status and eventually became a coach. He had a significant impact on the game of rugby as well as hundreds of players. Charlie will be greatly missed but never forgotten. THREE CHEERS FOR CHARLIE!!!” Charlie also enjoyed billiards and was the Captain of the Shoulda, Coulda, Woulda pool team at Lyrewood Lounge as well as a member of other leagues. Charlie was a beloved brother, teammate and friend.
