Cherie Marie Stockwell

Cherie Marie Stockwell, aged 62, passed away on March 10th,2025, Oklahoma City Oklahoma with her daughter Leeana by her side. Cherie's passion for animals began in early childhood, through her experiences riding horses. Cherie was well-known for her fierce love for animals, especially those considered "throwaways', believing every living creature deserved affection. Her dedication and resilience while working at the Oklahoma City Animal Shelter were truly unmatched. Her infectious laugh and ability to bring smiles to others created countless happy memories over the years. Cherie had a passion for music, food, black-and-white movies and last minute camping trips. She had a remarkable gift for making the best of any situation life presented. Her loving expressions such as 'Hey lady" or 'love ya kid,' will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew her.
