Cheryl "Diane" Wilkening

July 19, 1953 - December 4, 2011 Wilkening, Cheryl “Diane”, 58, passed away Sunday, December 4, 2011 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born July 19, 1953 in Fort Leavenworth, Kansas to Henry and Marjorie Denney. Diane was united in marriage on June 23, 1973 in Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Glenn Wilkening. Diane was the Director of Finance and Budgeting with Hertz for 34 years. Diane enjoyed traveling, going on cruises with her family and reading a good mystery book. Her greatest joy and love were the three men in her life, Glenn, Steven and Chris. Diane is survived by her husband, Glenn Wilkening; two sons, Steven Wilkening and Chris Wilkening both of OKC; two brothers, Richard Denney and wife Lydia Barrett of Norman and Mike Denney and wife Edna of Grove, OK; two sisters, Lora Kearnes and husband Art of Grove, OK and Kathy Denney and sister-in-law, Iva Samples of Grove, OK; and a host of family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents. Diane's family would like to give a special thank you to the nursing staff and doctors of Integris who provided loving and professional care. Memorial services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 8, 2011 at McFarlin Memorial United Methodist Church, 419 S. University Blvd., Norman.
