Clinton Leonard Des Rosier 1930-2021 Clint Des Rosier was born on June 4, 1930 in Ely, Minnesota to Leonard J. Des Rosier and Tynne A. Peura. The family moved to Hibbing, Mn in 1933 where he attended school, graduating from Hibbing High School in 1948. Clint joined the USAF in January, 1949 in order to leave Minnesota because “he was tired of shoveling snow”! While stationed in Albany, Georgia he met and married the love of his life, Betty Stratford in 1951. For most of his Air Force career he was a Radar Technician on EC-121 Super Constellation aircraft, nicknamed "The Connie”, logging more than 6400 flying hours. His many duty stations culminated at McClellan AFB, Sacramento, CA. Clint loved his service in the Air Force and shortly after his retirement he resumed his service as a federal civil servant, finally retiring for good in 1992. Clint moved to Florida in 1994 after the death of Betty and their oldest son Tom. After suffering a stroke in 2012 he moved for the last time to Oklahoma to live out his days with his daughter, Betsy, and her family. Clint is survived by his son Leonard (Kathy) of Roseville, CA, Betsy Murphy (Michael) of Edmond, OK, grandchildren Christopher, Erinn, Thomas, Nicholas, Alina and Danielle. He was proceeded in death by hie wife Betty and son Tom in 1994, and son Charlie in 2017. A graveside service and burial will be held at Union Cemetery in Roseville, CA at a later date.
