Sister Cloretta Stern, age 50, of Oklahoma City passed away on March 23, 2016, she was born May 13, 1965 in Waxahachie, Texas to Supt. Alfred Lee Sterns and Mildred Haywood Sterns, to this union were seven children born, she was the fifth child of seven. Sister Cloretta was preceded in death by her parents, a twin-sister (Renetta Sterns), and one brother (Alfred Raydell Sterns). Sister Cloretta was blessed to have four daughters: Angela Sterns- High (Ronnie High, Sr.), Joanna R. Sterns, and twin daughters Sheba and Nyeba Sterns, all of Oklahoma City. Sister Cloretta was a proud grandmother of seven grandchildren whom were her pride and joy, four grandsons, and three granddaughters. Sister Cloretta received her education in the Oklahoma City Public School system, later she began working for liberty bank in the evenings to support her girls. Sister Cloretta accepted Christ at an early age in her father’s church in Texas. Later, Sister Cloretta became a member of Over Comer’s Church Of GOD In Christ until her demise where Elder Eric Rollerson is Senior Pastor and founder; Sister Cloretta loved going to church, one of her favorite sayings was…”Pastor My GOD is Bigger than that!”, Sister Cloretta loved going to church, she would attend church as much as she could until her health began to fail, she was a gentle spirit and would share anything with anyone, Sister Cloretta was also a song writer in her own rights; as she would spend many hours writing songs during her spare time in her younger days. Sister Cloretta accepted Christ in her life in 2012. She leaves to cherish her memories… Four Daughters and Seven Grandchildren, The seven grandchildren include: Dayvante’ R. Sterns, Ronnie High, Jr., Hannah High, Saraya Sterns, Alontae’ Andrews, Diamonae York, and Naomi Carol High, all of Oklahoma City. Two Older Sisters: Dorcas O.Sterns and Carolyn J.Sterns, Twin Brothers: Ronald L. Sterns (Rhonda F. Sterns), and Donald G. Sterns, Sr., all of Oklahoma City. Five Uncles: Herman Haywood (Beatrice Haywood) of Oklahoma City, Lawrence Haywood of Guthrie, Oklahoma, Supt. Lee Morris Stern (Evangelist Dianne Stern) of Lancaster, TX, Curlie Bell Stern (Brenda Sterns), Robert Lee Sterns (Pearlie Sterns) all of Waxahachie, TX, two aunts: Lois Harrison and Barbara Jordan both of Waxahachie, TX, and a host of cousins… one special cousins -Katie Sterns-Sanders (L.T. Sanders) of Dallas, TX, Two Nephews: Jonathan LaRon Sterns, Donald Sterns, Jr., One Niece: LaQueena Sterns, several special friends… (Mr. Hobart Brown, Marie Allen, Tony Allen, Andre Lee, Minister Bobby Wigley and family, and many loved ones, church members, and associates.
