Cynthia Jane Orsburn passed away peacefully on Thursday November 7, 2024, at the age of 63. Cynthia was born on July 29, 1961, to David and Evelyn Simons in Sanger, California. Cynthia is the younger sibling of her brother David.
At a youthful age, they moved from California to Wisconsin, where she attended school at Waukesha High School. After school, she moved back to California, where she became a live-in nanny.
While in California, she met her first husband, James Rodabaugh. She worked in customer service and as an administrative executive before having two children: Jennifer and James Jr. They moved around between California, Tennessee, and Texas. After moving to Texas in 1998, Cynthia and James split up amicably.
Cynthia worked in customer service for Benny Hinn Ministries and Send a Limo. She met Garland in early 2001, and they were married in summer 2001. Both became highly active in their local church. Garland had three daughters: Courtney, Jamie, and Shannon, one son: Joshua, and two grandchildren: Jessica and Christopher. They fought to adopt the grandchildren as their children and succeeded. After moving from Texas, Cynthia settled down in Midwest City, OK with Garland and Christopher. They attended Victory Church in Edmond, OK.
She liked to spend time hanging out with the family, watching a variety of movies, playing with her dogs, cooking meals for any occasion, and travelling to various destinations. She enjoyed collecting Coca-Cola items over the course of her life. The Coca-Cola Museum was one of her favorite museums to visit. Cynthia also enjoyed playing games with her friends every Tuesday evening.
Cynthia was predeceased by her daughter Jennifer Davis. She is survived by her husband Garland, brother David, sister-in-law Gloria, sons James and Christopher.
