David Allen Branson

Memorial Service Saturday, March 20th, 2021 02:00 PM South Grand Church of Christ **You Must Wear a Mask to be in Attendance** David Allen Branson was born July 6, 1951, to Calvin and Wilma (Scott) Branson in Stillwater, OK, and passed away Saturday, March 13, 2021 in Oklahoma City, OK. The oldest of three children, one son and twin girls. He graduated from Morrison High School in 1970. He then joined the Army National Guard and began basic training at Ft Leonard Wood, MO. He married the love of his life, Wanda Butler on June 5, 1971, in Stillwater OK. To that union two children were born, Jenny and Allen. David spent much of his career as a Meat Cutter and Market Manager. David loved to cook and always made sure anyone in his home would be well fed. David was preceded in death by his father, Calvin. He is survived by his mother, Wilma (Emmitt) Branson; wife of 49 years, Wanda; children, Jenny (Farrel) Young and Allen (Melissa) Branson; grandchildren, Joshua Branson, Logan Young, Gavin Branson, Wyatt Young, Cade Branson. Also, Aryn Butler and Ryan Butler. Twin sisters, Vonda (Joey) Dupree and Lavon (Mike) Ridgon, He loved his family immensely and was the absolute best son, brother, husband, dad, father-in-law, and grandpa/papa anyone could ever ask for or imagine.
