David Wayne McCathern

David “Big Dave” McCathern Sr. passed away in Oklahoma City at the age of 55 on August 24, 2017. He was born on August 10, 1962 to Tim McCathern Sr. and Penelope Cyphers. He was a loving father, a proud brother, a wonderful son, and caring friend to many. Dave is survived by his three sons Davey Jr., Ian, and Keenan. He has two brothers, Timmy Jr. and Patrick McCathern. He is also survived by several aunts, uncles, and cousins who he thought the world of. Dave is a retired employee of UPS and has since been spending time with his family and friends. A private memorial service is planned. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Red Cross for the relief efforts of Hurricane Harvey.
