David Watts

Jay ‘David’ Watts Jr. was born March 6, 1953 in Oklahoma City to Jay and Bobbie Watts. He grew up in Northwest Oklahoma City and always had an adventurous spirit and a great love of music. At 16, he combined those two and he and a friend went to NY to attend “Woodstock”, a memory he loved to share. As a young man David joined his father in the family business, Royal Sign & Display Company. In 1976 he married Lynda, the love of his life, and stepped in to be a father to Lynda's young daughter Lorrie. In 1979 they completed their family with daughter Jaye Dee. David had the most amazing ability to build anything he saw or imagined. This worked well for him though the years in his business and his many hobbies. Some of those hobbies included computers, electronics, racecars, model airplanes, motorcycles and most recently photography, gardening and motoring. David was the founder of okMINI.com and this gave him the opportunity to meet his new family of ‘MINI’ friends. David was the life of the party...
