Funeral Service Monday, August 19th, 2019 - 11:00 AM - (CDT) - Oasis Church - Edmond 16000 N. Western - Edmond, OK - 73013 Dollie Lea Blackburn Hindman, age 95, moved to her heavenly home on Tuesday, August 13, 2019, in Edmond Oklahoma. Her residence for the last 11 years was Edmond senior residence, formerly of Hobbs New Mexico. She was born on March 14, 1924, in Crowell, Texas, to Roy Mitchell (Man) Blackburn and Jewell Frazier, she grew up on a farm in western Oklahoma and at the age of 15 married her late husband Audy Hindman. Together they had four children: her daughter Patricia (late husband Sunny Nixon) of Jenks, Oklahoma: Earl Hindman of Topeka Kansas, Mitch (Lura) Hindman of Edmond Oklahoma, and Robert (Judy) Hindman of Edmond Oklahoma. Dollie was blessed with 16 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren, 15 great-great-grandchildren, and two great-great-great-grandchildren. Her passing will end the line of a six generation era. She will always be remembered by friends and family as a mentor and prayer warrior for everyone that came to her for Godly advise. Her faith was great for our country, she prayed for our leaders daily, as well as her church leaders (Oasis), all children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren by name daily. Officiating Pastor of Oasis Church, James Fortune is also a grandson of Dollie.
