Dolores Johnson was born on April 13, 1918 to Paul and Catherine Brooks in Dunkirk, New York. She was the oldest of three daughters. She graduated from Fredonia College with a Baccalaureate in Education in 1942. She married Sydney Kent Johnson, a fighter pilot during World War II, on September 4, 1945. They resided in Buffalo, New York for almost thirty years. After her husband's death she decided she had enough of Buffalo's cold harsh winters and moved to Bradenton, Florida where she spent many happy years. In 2005 she relocated to Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to be near her two daughters. Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, husband Sydney Kent Johnson and youngest sister Betty. She is survived by her sister Geraldine Knoll of Saratoga Springs, New York, daughters Michele Starr and Laurie Randall of Oklahoma City, grandsons Matthew and Christopher Starr and many nieces and nephews. She will be remembered as a kind, loving and caring mother and grandmother and her zest for life. The family would like to give a special thanks to her caregivers. A Memorial Mass will be held at Christ The King Catholic Church, 8005 Dorset Drive, Monday, March 19th at 10: 00 a.m.
