Macarthur Blvd - Oklahoma City, OK - 73122 Mar. 10, 1933 - May 25, 2014 DEL CITY DONALD "DON" MILLIRONS, dedicated husband, father, and Papa, received his wings May 25, 2014. He was born in Lone Wolf, OK on Mar. 10, 1933. Don is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Dorothy, and their children: Randy, Jeff and his wife Tina, and daughter Brenda. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren: Sherrie Whorton, Lindsey and Jay Statom, Jessica and Michael Tomolonis, Amy and Daniel Melson, Nathan Millirons, and Loretta Millirons, as well as 7 great-grandchildren: Garrett, Mason, Landen, Kylie, Austin, Nolan, and Sianne. Don never declined a request, no matter how big or small, and had an immeasurable generosity about him. After graduating with a BA in Journalism from OU in 1956, he worked as News Editor for The Pauls Valley Democrat, The Holdenville Daily News and The Duncan Banner between '56 and '62 before becoming Corporate PR for GE/Honeywell in 1962. There he remained until 1975. Don was also very active as President for the Amer. Automobile Assoc. and The Central Ok. Industrial Editor's Assoc. as well as accomplished Chairman for OKC Beautiful for 20 years ('75-'95). Don made a positive impact on many lives and his generous heart and array of wisdom will be dearly missed, but never forgotten. To send flowers or a memorial gift to the family of Don D.
