Donald Houston Goad

Don Goad June 17, 1941-May 26, 2016 Don passed on May 26, 2016. He is survived by his wife of over 50 years Carolyn, his Pal (Son) Carey, Carey’s wife Gayle, his brother Frank, and Frank’s wife Suzan. Don worked as an engineer for Seagate Technology for over 30 years. He was well respected by his co-workers and met lifelong friends through his career at Seagate. He enjoyed watching sports such as baseball, basketball, football, and hockey. He attended several years of hockey games watching the Oklahoma City Blazers with his family. Don coached little league baseball and basketball for many years and loved spending time with his Pal Carey. Don’s basketball team won second place in a state wide tournament and was invited to attend the national tournament with the team. Don also was survived by the family companion Nikko. Many days were spent looking after him and taking him on walks with his wife. The family would like to extend its many thanks to the loving and caring staff at Brookdale Northwest and Physicians Choice Hospice. They took such wonderful care of him.
