On February 1, 2013, God took his Superwoman, Donna Tirrell Kahl, into his heavenly arms at the young age of 47 after her 2½ year battle with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. Her time on this earth was short but she served as an inspiration to many by her strength and perseverance. A native Texan, Donna’s smile could light up a room as well as her dancing to country music. She lived to help the people around her and could make friends with a perfect stranger. The people whose lives she entered will now forever be touched in a positive light. She is survived by her mother Marilyn Tirrell, her brother Scott Tirrell, her two sons Michael Alarcon and Brian Kahl, her sister-in-law Aracely Tirrell, nephew Joseph, nieces Morgan, Madison and Megan, as well as aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A memorial service will be arranged in El Paso, TX. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to her website www.donnasbattle.com
