Britton Road - Oklahoma City, OK Doris (Huffman) Jenks went joyfully to be with her Lord Jesus and a host of family, friends and loved ones on Sunday, Feb 12, 2017, after a brief illness. “Dodo” left behind, for a time, her three daughters, Karen Parks (Dick), Kristy Rohm (Dane), and Kathy Hermansen (Rick), and grandchildren Kate Skarsten, Thom Parks and Daniel Parks, Scott Rohm and Julie DiFabio and Sandy Hermansen, Jen Matias and Kevin Hermansen, as well as great grandchildren Naomi, Luke, Sam Skarsten, Leon DiFabio and Andy Matias. Doris was the beloved wife of Ralph Jenks, daughter of Claude and Opal Huffman and sister of Wilma Huffman Dockum, all of whom she is celebrating with in Heaven. Doris was a member for over 50 years of Metropolitan Baptist Church and wonderfully reflected the love, joy, faithfulness and peace of her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Memorial services will be held Thursday, Feb. 16, 2017 at 10:00 am at Metropolitan Baptist Church with burial at Ft. Sill National Cemetery. Friends can visit at the Corbett Funeral Home on Wednesday, Feb. 15 between 1 and 7 pm. Memorial gifts can be made to Missions at Metropolitan Baptist Church or The Little Light Christian School.
