Dorman Cavin

Born in Chickasha, OK to Lee Garrett and Bertha Cavin. He graduated from Chickasha H.S. and worked 10 years for Chickasha Cotton Oil Co. He served 2 years during the Korean War. He worked for APCO Oil Co. for 23 years then 8 years with Barrett Trailers. He enjoyed working at Lakeside Golf Course until June of this year. He is survived by his wife Opal of 62 years and 2 daughters, Karen and her husband Brad Ingham of Jacksonville Fl. and Cheryl Cavin of OKC. He leaves behind 5 grand-children, Heather, Holden, Alex, Austin and Landon plus 1 great- grandchild, Emma. Also surviving are 2 older brothers Thurman Cavin and his wife Virgie, Truman Onial Cavin and his wife MaryAnn, all of Chickasha. Sisters in law Loretta and Velma Cavin both of OKC and numerous nephews and nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents and younger twin bothers Ronald and Dean Cavin.
