Dorothy (Dot) Eileen Blythe, 59 of OKC passed away November 1, 2012 from pancreatic cancer. She was born August 3, 1953 to Lonnie Patterson & Jeanne (Lehua) Hatfield, and grew up in OKC. Dot married Walter (Scott) Blythe III on February 7, 1975. Dot graduated from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor of Science in Business and a Masters in Business Administration. Dot was currently working as a Land Administration Coordinator at Chesapeake Energy Corporation. Co-workers thought of her as the “mom” in the office, always concerned and taking care of others. She was also known for her huge smile, and a great sense of humor. Dot was a devoted mother, always involved in school activities, especially Westmoore Jaguars H.S. Marching Band where she served as President of the Booster Club several times. She was always eager to be of help to anyone. Dot loved her “boys” (Scott and Nathan) and was always eager to get home each day to “take care” of them. One of her greatest joys was having Nathan currently attend O.U. Dot was an avid reader, runner, and a huge sports fan of O.U. and the OKC Thunder. Dot is survived by her husband Scott, son Nathan; step-sons Scotty and Chris Blythe; brothers Gene P. Hatfield and Lonnie W. Hatfield. A memorial service will be held on Monday, November 5th at 10:00 AM at Westmoore Community Church (12609 S.
