Dorothy Scheirmann

Dorothy Scheirmann went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, February 26th, 2013, at the age of 92. She was born in Wagoner, Oklahoma to Phillip and Hazel Cobb. She grew up in Henryetta, Oklahoma with her sister Betty. She graduated from Henryetta High School in 1938 and was soon married to Richard Scheirmann, who went to be with our Lord in 1982. They had 3 children, Dick, Vicki, and Karen. Dorothy spent 30 years working at the Quail Creek Golf and Country Club as their purchasing agent. She enjoyed traveling, visiting family, reading, chocolate, Wheel of Fortune, sewing, and crossword puzzles among many other things. She spent many of her last years comfortably cared for by her daughter Vicki, son in law Johnny Determan, who preceded her in passing 2 years ago, and her granddaughter Kerry Marshall. She was most loved by her family. She is survived by her sister Betty Dilley, Son Dick Scheirmann and wife Marla, Daughters Vicki Determan and Karen Sheirmann and husband Billy Ryan. Grandchildren Lisa Houston and husband Tad, Kerry Marshall, Chris Marshall and wife Andrea, Rich Scheirmann and wife Deana, and Scott Scheirmann and wife Heather. 10 great grandchildren, Loryn , Merit, Victoria , Kyle , Molly, Harmony, Sean, Shannon, Reece and Grace. Many nieces and nephews and a great number of other family and friends. May she find peace in the presence of our Lord and the family and friends that preceded her.
