Dottie K. Christian

Dorothy “Dottie” K. Christian passed away on August 10, 2012 in Oklahoma City at the age of 87. She was born in Clayton, New Mexico to Stephen and Hazel Kelly. She worked as a secretary at Harvest Queen Elevator in Plainview, Texas, and as a secretary of the Oklahoma Real Estate Commission and National Gypsum Company in Oklahoma City. She was a member of the Canteberry Choral Society and she attended The Church of the Servant. Dottie married James E. Chisholm in 1950 and during their 19 year marriage the lived in Texas, North Carolina, Georgia, Oklahoma and Canada, returning to Oklahoma for a final time in 1967. She was preceded in death by her husband; Ray E. Christian, her father; Stephen B. Kelly, mother; Hazel Kelly, sister; Helen Hardison, and her grandson; Jeremy Paul Chisholm. She is survived by her son; Lane Chisholm and his wife Susan, and her granddaughter; Allison Chisholm, all of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. There are no services arranged at this time for Dorothy.
