Graveside Service Saturday, June 28th, 2014 - 10:00 AM - Memorial Park Cemetery 13400 North Kelly - Oklahoma City, OK - 73131 Douglas Frank Salmon, 58, died June 20, 2014, after a brief, final battle with familial dilated cardiomyopathy at Integris Hospice House. He was born on July 3, 1955, to Jimmie Salmon and Martha Sue Horton in Oakland, California. He graduated from Putnam City High School in 1973. Preceded in death by his parents; brother, Stephen; and son, Daniel. Survived by his wife, Patricia; sons, Stephen and Jim; daughter, Laura; and the mother of Jim and Laura, Susan Dobbins. Also survived by sister, Ellen; brother, Don Paul and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. Well known for his generous and giving nature, he was a kind soul who was loved by all who knew him. There will be a graveside service with military honors on Saturday, June 28th, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Park Cemetery in Edmond. There will be a celebration of Doug's life following the service at the home of his sister, Ellen, until 3:00 p.m. At this time the family would like to thank the staff at Integris Hospice House for their loving care the last few days of Doug's life and all our family and friends for their thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
