Doyle Steven Brown

Doyle Steven Brown – 70, of Bethany, OK, and formerly of Woodward, OK, passed peacefully with his family by his side Monday, November 9th. He was born May 4, 1950 in Odessa, TX to the late Steve and Mary Jane Brown. Doyle married the love of his life, Becky Baum, and they began to realize their ministry together. Doyle had a love of music and ministering to others with his voice. He fulfilled a life-long dream of creating 2 music CD’s. Doyle and Becky opened their hearts and their home to many kids and families over the years. An outreach of God’s love and a servant’s heart by encouraging and showing love in action. In addition to his parents, Doyle was preceded in death by his older brother David Brown. Left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Becky; children, Steve Brown and his wife Kendra, Sara DuBois and her husband Brandon, and Stuart Brown and his wife Kelsey; grandchildren, Joshua Brown, Jerika Brown, Kambree Brown, Seth Brown, and Peyton DuBois; siblings, Charlotte Brown-Baxter, Dale Brown and his wife Eileen, Darrell Brown and his wife Shelly, Dewayne Brown and his wife Shirley, and Douglas Brown and his wife Teresa; also survived by many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 12th from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM in the Chapel of Corbett Funeral and Cremation, 807 W Wilshire Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73116. Funeral services will be held Friday, November 13th at 10:00 AM at Lake Overholser Church of the Nazarene, 3900 E Overholser Drive, Bethany, OK 73008. Burial will follow in Bethany City Cemetery.
