Earl Hamel

Earl S. Hamel, 76 of Oklahoma City died July 10, 2010 at Integris Baptist Hospital in Oklahoma City. Earl was born to George & Eva (Beard-Foote) on August 17, 1933 in Lowell Mass. After a tour in the U.S. Navy, he drove 18-wheelers long distance. At the time of his death he was employed by R and R delivery, which he enjoyed very much. In his life: he loved fishing, family spaghetti dinners and growing tomatoes. He leaves behind a loving wife of 22 years Barbra (Stinger) Hamel of Oklahoma City, 5 Daughters: Cheryl Sarsao of Milford NH, Pam Methe of Fitzwilliam NH, Cathy Firscia of Nashua, NH, Shannon Downs of Berlin, NH, and Meggen Hamel of Manchester, NH. He also leaves behind 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. Earl was predeceased by a stepson James Stringer, a daughter Kelly Gallagher and a grandson H.W. Goss. Services will be at the convenience of the family and are being handled by Corbett Funeral Service in Oklahoma City.
