Ericka Ann Schuldt, fondly known as "Sugarplum," passed away on March 31, 2023 at the age of 42. She was born on May 30, 1980, at OU Hospital as the middle child of Nancy and Erick Henry Schuldt and sister to Bobbie and Erick Schuldt. She was also a beloved aunt to seven nieces and nephews and a cherished niece to Lawanna and Jimmy Schuldt.
From the moment she was born, Ericka's vibrant spirit was evident. She came into the world determined to do things her own way, even attempting to come out bottom first. Her feisty attitude and fearlessness remained with her throughout her life. She was a woman who spoke her mind and didn't care what others thought of her, as she knew she was strong enough to handle anything thrown her way.
Ericka loved life and approached every obstacle with pure love and joy. She was a genuine and heartfelt person who would do anything for anyone. Her infectious personality lit up every room she walked into, and she was genuinely loved by everyone she met.
Despite facing many challenges in her life, including a stint in prison, Ericka turned her life around by turning to God. She became a woman of faith who fought for her family and friends no matter what. She graduated from high school and found joy in her work cleaning houses for a friend. She was a dedicated member of her church, attending services every Sunday and Wednesday.
Ericka had a special bond with her niece, Linda, that was beyond close and inseparable. She had a remarkable ability to connect with everyone around her and was always willing to help in any way she could. Her generosity and kind heart will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Ericka Ann Schuldt will forever be remembered as a woman who lived life to the fullest, loved deeply, and made a lasting impact on everyone she met.
