Ollie Emanuel Cooper Jr. was born June 1, 1950 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Ollie Emanuel Cooper, Sr. and Flora Altheda Abram Cooper. He was preceded in death by his sister, Beatrice Bernice and his parents. Ollie was baptized at New Zion Baptist Church by his grandfather, Rev. Jess T. Abram, Sr. He was a member there until the death of Rev. Abram. The family then moved membership to St. John Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. W.K. Jackson. Ollie attended Creston Hills Elementary School, Kennedy Jr. High and Douglas S1". High, where he graduated in 1968. He entered Northwestern College in Alva, Oklahoma majoring in Business Administration. He attended Northwestern for three years when he was compelled to pursue his childhood dream of firefighting. The academy accepted Ollie and he graduated with honors in 1973. He served as a firefighter for 20 years. Upon his retirement, he became a trucker and drove for 10 years before full retirement. Ollie answered God's call to become a pastor and evangelist while living in Omaha Nebraska. Ollie was extremely family oriented and loved his family with all his heart. He was surrounded by family when he transitioned from this life. Forever cherishing his memory are his brothers; Jess Cooper, Charles Cooper, and Abram Cooper: his sisters; Theresa A. Cooper-Turner, Cynthia McCurdy, and Adrianne Jones, as well as a host of aunts, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
