Evelyn Foster

Evelyn L. Foster, age 83, passed away August 8, 2009 to join her Heavenly Father. She was born June 22, 1926 to Albert and Alice Nokes. Ms. Foster is preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, Fred Nokes, Donald Nokes, Ervin Nokes; 2 sisters, Ruth Nokes, Dovey Nokes; 3 husbands and 1 son, Jerry Scott. She is survived by her 1 brother, Robert Nokes; 6 children, Carolyn, David, Donald, Janelle, Joletta, and Janetta; 14 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild and countless nieces and nephews. Viewing of the body will be August 12, 2009 at the Corbett Funeral home. Funeral services will be conducted by Corbett Funeral Home, Thursday, August 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Free Methodist Church, 6000 N. MacArthur, followed by burial at Memorial Park.
