Garry McCoy

August 30, 1962 — September 30, 2009

Garry Allen McCoy was born on August 30, 1962 in Clovis, New Mexico to Georgia Hubbard and Allen McCoy. Garry spent most of his youth and early adult years in Fairview, Oklahoma before moving to Midwest City, Oklahoma where he resided until his passing on September 30, 2009. Garry was a loving brother to Steven, Jana and Jeanna, a caring father to Karry, Kiesha and Kyle, a fun-loving uncle to Alecia, Linsey, Lauren and Mackenzie, not to mention a very good friend to many. Garry was like a father to his best buddy Chris who was there by his side until the very end. Garry had so many loving cousins, aunts and uncles that will miss him dearly. Garry"™s family takes comfort knowing that he has been reunited with his beloved mother Georgia, whom he missed so very much. As well as other loved ones that preceded him. Garry enjoyed watching OU football, listening to music and striking it big at the casinos. He had such a great sense of humor and was always giving everyone a hard time. He would always find a way to poke a joke and make you laugh. Anyone that knew Garry knows he liked being competitive and loved challenging family members to a game of trivia pursuit, ping pong and foosball. Garry struggled with diabetes and health complications that lead to his passing. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your local Diabetes foundation. A life celebration will be held at a later date, please sign guest book with contact information if you would like to attend. http://www.diabetes.org/support-the-cause/make-a-donation.
