“Your life is made of two dates and a dash. Make the most of the dash.” Linda Ellis Anyone who knew George knows he definitely made the most of his dash. George was a man who enjoyed everything the hard way. He was a hard man to get close to, but once you did you learned; he worked hard, he played hard, he loved hard, and he laughed hard. George was never one to mince his words; you always knew where you stood with him. He was one of the best political allies a wife could ever have. He was a very creative man, and he always kept busy doing artistic or woodworking projects. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and he was loved just as hard as he loved. George was born the youngest of three children in Oklahoma City, OK and lived here the majority of his life. George worked as a sheet metal polisher for the Sheet Metal Workers Union Local #124 for over 40 years. He loved what he did so much it turned work into a hobby outside of work. George is preceded in death by his parents: Father Eugene Christensen of Salt Lake City, UT and Mother Noma Hannah Robinson Nigus of Oklahoma City, OK. George leaves behind his wife Carolyn, his stepchildren: Shannon Hooper and wife Brande, Keisha Conrad and husband JR, Nancy Hooper, Casey Hooper and wife Angelina, and Jarod Dail, Grandchildren: Finlee and Averee Hooper; Hayden, Hudson, Henley, and Holden Conrad; Ryann Brake and Dylan Hooper.
