Geraldine Bledsoe

Geraldine (Jerri) Bledsoe, 81, of Oklahoma City, passed away on October 3, at her residence. Born April 22, 1933 in Strong City, Oklahoma to Amos and Em Tesse Chandler of Midwest City. She graduated from Midwest City High School in 1951. She attended Meadowood Baptist Church and served in the church kitchen. She also had a life long career with the Street’s Dept. stores as a shoe department manager. Jerri was a woman of faith in her Lord Jesus Christ and everything she did was for the glory of God. She loved to cook and had a lift-long food ministry serving others. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son, Sidney Norman. She is survived by her two sisters, Doris Kremer and Norma Slavick and her brother, Robert Chandler. Also, her 3 remaining children, Michelle Grayson, Patricia Ann Jones, and Michael Clark. Jerri had 5 grandchildren and 8 great-grand-children. A memorial service will be held at Meadowood Baptist Church in Midwest City at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 11, 2014.
