Howard Kent Howell, of Oklahoma City, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the age of 82. He was born to Ralph & Gladys Howell in Hinton, Oklahoma. He proudly served his county during WWII by enlisting in the US Navy. After the war, he attended and graduated from Texas Tech. Soon after graduation he started his career spanning 58-years in the moving and storage industry. In 1957 he met and shortly thereafter married the love of his life Wilma Reid. From their union came two sons, four grandsons, one great-granddaughter, a family company and a number of "adopted family members" that worked for them at Ace Atlas Van Lines, all of whom he dearly loved. A public visitation will be held Wednesday from noon until 7pm with the family present starting at 4 p.m.
The funeral service will be a private family affair.
