Hunter "Cole"man Jackson December 12, 1994 "“ September 18, 2011 Cole went to be with his Heavenly Father after a valiant and courageous 2 year battle with a rare form of aggressive cancer, Rhabdomyosarcoma. Cole was born in Oklahoma City and moved to Mustang in 1998. He attended Mustang Public Schools all of his life. At a young age, Cole played numerous sports, but his great love was playing the acoustic guitar and playing video games. Cole participated in Camp Fire Boys & Girls and Boy Scouts. Cole had aspired to be a medical doctor, with a specialty in childhood oncology. Dwarfing most others, Cole stood 6 ft. 5 inches and weighed 240 pounds.  Cole is survived by his father, Michael; mother, Rhonda and sister, Shelby of the home; and sister, Marissa Henninger, husband Chase and son Keen, who currently reside in China. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Harold and Jean Coleman of OKC; aunts and uncles, Patti and Charles Truesdell, Rhonda Weible, Debbie O"™Hasson, Jayne Coleman M.D. and Jim Hakert M.D.; Godmother, M. Beth Cooper and cousins, Tanner, Tate, Tristan and Damian Hakert, Tiffany and Chad Truesdell, and many other family and friends.  Cole was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Ronald and Geraldine Jackson. Cole will be missed by many. His awesome smile, bear hugs, and quick wit will be remembered. Cole"™s family would like to thank the wonderful nurses at OU Children"™s Pediatric Oncology Physicians, Mercy Health Center, Mercy Oncology Physicians and Hospice of OK County for the compassionate care given to Cole and the family. A candle-light memorial will take place on Monday, September 19, 2011, 7 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church in Mustang, OK (located at 211 W. Hwy 152, 1 block west of Mustang Road) for Cole"™s friends and family. A memorial service celebrating Cole"™s life will be held on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 @ 10:00 a.m., in the Celebration Center at Church of the Servant, 14343 N. MacArthur, Oklahoma City, with Dr. Robyn Goggs and Rev. Randy Shrauner officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to one of the following:  Make-A-Wish Foundation, Caring Bridge.com, OU Children"™s Hospital Oncology Unit, Mercy Health Center Oncology Unit, or Hospice of OK County.
