James Bachman

James Michael Bachman was born February 26, 1941, in Sherman, Texas to Elizabeth Norman Bachman and James L. Bachman.   After a lengthy illness he died in Oklahoma City on April 20, 2009.  Mike is survived by his beloved family:  wife Angela; children Andy and Tammy Bachman, Kevin and Lisa Bachman, and Matthew Bachman; grandchildren Kayla, Alison, Emma, Michael and Christian Bachman; brother and sister-in-law Ralph and Lila Fillmore; brother-in-law Harold Smart; nieces Robin Smart Germany, M.D., Lindsay Fillmore Gabrielson and Heather Fillmore Neighbors; nephew Phillip Smart.  He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister Pamela Bachman Smart.  Mike grew up in Seminole, Oklahoma.  After moving to Oklahoma City, he graduated from John Marshall High School and Oklahoma City University.
