James Paul Butler (77) passed away at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City on March 15, 2013. He was born in Oklahoma City on January 3, 1936 to W. V. (Van) and Helen Morita (Thomas) Butler. He married his wife Geneve on October 14, 1961 in Oklahoma City. He attended NE Jr. and Sr. High School, and then went to Oklahoma A&M in Stillwater, where he was in the Theta Chi fraternity and then to Oklahoma City University. He served in the Army from 1958 until 1964. He operated a family owned interior decorating business. Paul is survived by his wife Geneve, one sister, Charlene Morrow, and one son, Brad Butler. He was a loving son, husband, father, brother, soldier, Christian and avid golfer. “This world is not my home...I am just playing through.”
