JERRY ALAN IKARD, died after a sudden illness on April 29,2022. He was born December 31,1954 and was raised in Oklahoma City. He was preceded in death by his parents, Asa and JoAnn Ikard, cousins Sharla Bruce, Mark Brandon and and Joe Bob Richards. Jerry is survived by his twin sister, Sherry Schumacher and brother and sister-in-law, James and Rebecca Ikard, by his brother-in-law, Leath Parker, uncle and aunt, Roger and Marjorie Bayer, and aunt, Joyce Kahle Ikard. He is also survived by his cousins, Nancy Black, Patty Brandon, Karen Hastings, Mike Hastings, Susan Kennard, BlakeKephart, Brent Kephart, Linda Tuell, Lisa Vining and Jill Witt, his niece, Kimberly Parker Ivanov, and nephews, James Parker, and Ben, Sam and Gabe Ikard. While Jerry lived with numerous health challenges, he maintained his zest for life, and his presence brightened any gathering. He will be remembered for the love, kindness, joy and laughter he brought to others, his unique joke telling talent, and love of country music and sweets. Charitable contributions in Jerry's name should be made to the charity of your choice. A memorial service for Jerry will be held on Friday, May 6th at 10:00 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery, 7801 N.W.
